Default Move of honor with Queens

I was playing tight but I had raised 4 hands in a row.

The villain wanted to be a calling station but kept getting pushed out beforehand (limp/fold.... limp/fold) and/or betted off flops if he got there.

I have $54 and he has $43.
1 fold. I raise to $2 UTG+1 with QQ.
Folds to villain in SB who raises it up to $4. (powermove)

Since this was raise #5 and think no one gives me credit AND because I hate minraises AND because I don't mind starting off looking a little crazy....

I do the move of honor.

Good? Bad? Just Ugly?

Move of honor means 4 betting I guess? All-in does it?

I certainly wouldn't push. Maybe a smaller 4 bet, although calling may be the best play even though that is a really small 3 bet.

Lol, he's trying to bluff you into thinking that he has AA/KK/QQ by raising you, and he's too cheap to do it properly.

Move of Honor used to refer to openpushing with Aces. A year or so ago it was a fad. I haven't seen anyone refer to it for awhile.

The reason to do it (at least with aces) is it looks so dumb that people would be tempted to call.

In this case, my thought is... I've raised 4 hands, he's sick of me and I've got the 3rd best starting hand in poker. Let's roll.

So you push when a loose passive villain finally comes to life?
The kind of villain you describe tend to have a very tight (min-)3betting range.
I dont like it.

If this is correct, and there's even a small chance he calls my raise, I'm in very good shape.

I'm not opposed to my play being bad, but for it to be bad you have to put him put him on a range of hands and assume that he'll only call if I'm behind.

I'm just curious if you think it significant that I've raised now 5 hands in a row (and if that effects his play).
