AA in tough spot
Not sure if this is the right hand converter but googled and came up with it....let me know if i should switch it up........
No read on villian or any stats on him.........i know this looks really weak folding on the turn but i was on a terrible downswing for the month of march and was already up 2 buy ins today so i guess my decision making wasnt on key. These are the spots i need to work on the most my big pairs and not paying off sets. Anyways any thoughts? Re: AA in tough spot
Well, you really need a read.
I can't say the fold is bad. I suppose an aggressive villain might do this with 66, 56, 76, 86, TT, or JJ (hands you beat) as well as 58, 78, 57, 55, 88, 77, 96 and 46 (hands you don't). I haven't pokerstoved this, but if the game usually runs a little weak tight, you can probably expect to see the hands that beat you often enough to fold. I think QQ/KK/AK are unlikely since they'd have reraised preflop usually, so I didn't include them in the range. What about re-popping the flop to $50, and then giving up if he doesn't go away? I don't know. If you call the raise on the flop just to c/f the turn that probably didn't help him, why call the raise on the flop? Just fold there? Anyone else have some ideas here? |
