Wow. Fantastic job Mr. Sklansky. No wonder you're such a winning high stakes NL player. By your logic, QQQ should take down a 6 BB pot against 777 333 and 222, since the button missed his OESD and checked the river. And that is undisputable.

Give the guy a break everyone.
This is standard at places like Hawaiian Gardens (So Cal) where monsters are slowplayed to death and middle pair no kicker are pushed hard 6 to the flop. =) Your plan just didn't work out this time, with that many people someone should have hit a marginally good hand to at least bet with. Oh well, no big deal. I like to raise preflop though, turn up the aggression a bit. but what do I know, I play at Hawaiian Gardens and other LA cardrooms. |

I'm stubborn. I still raise preflop =) Got an image to live up to!
Also, I think that stacking someone (even if it's only 80bb) in a limped pot will not happen nearly as often with the "decent" players in your scenario seems to imply but may happen at times with the much lower than average players. |

Is that an April Fools post?
Seems sound advice on how to win a small pot or lose a big one. I don't believe a winning player could write that article. |
