Can't for the life of me understand the $75k call by Benyamine with just top pair & Q kicker. These guys are loaded of course, but still for that much? You have to put PA on at least 2 pair, maybe a slowplay of tens or better, unlikely he had A9 but still a possibility.

[/ QUOTE ]
2-pair? PA clearly had a draw on the flop, otherwise he would have raised to protect his hand. Benyamine knew this and called (and PA knew that Benyamine knew, that's why the big river bet).

I just saw this for the first time. What the hell was that 'Croc' idiot doing during that big Ivey/Antonius pot? I couldnt believe he was making comments like that. Anyone ever heard of/seen this guy before? Also, what an all-in by PA.

Ok, just saw that 10 8(PA) Vs. AK(EL) hand....so sick for Lindgren. Anybody here just mucking the river there? What a hand. Once again, God shows his supremacy. Lol.

Wow, Antonius just cleaned up in the second episode. Too bad there are only two episodes--this was way better than HSP this year. That croc dude would get really annoying really quickly though.

"The Croc" might be the single biggest jackass I've ever seen on TV poker. And this is after half a decade of seeing guys like Joe Stillman, Tony G, Dmitri Nobles, Eric Molina, and Jamie Gold in tournament after tournament. The Croc trumped them all in about 15 minutes of screen time.

I'm a pacifist, but I would relish beating this guy senseless with wooden hammer. His sense of humor makes Phil Gordon look like Chris Rock. His poker skill makes Jamie Gold look like Barry Greenstein. His fashion sense makes Johnny Chan look like Marcel Luske. And his rude, irritating lack of etiquette makes Tony G look like Doyle Brunson.

I sat next to him on day 1 of the main event. My friend Cameron told me that apparently he's a real poker celebrity over there.

Remind me never to go to Australia.

But seriously, what was he like? Was he just putting that show on for the cameras? Or is he that repugnant when there's no TV around?

He wasn't nearly as bad as you say, though I don't remember it that well. Seidel and Mel Judah were at my table too and I wasn't impressed too much with any of their play except Seidel's when the antes started to get big.

I don't remember it that well, so I'm guessing he wasn't that much of a jackass.
