What do you mean "push"? SB has $3 left... I'm confused, you're not thinking of folding I hope?

edit: Oh, sorry misread. Yes, call.

Should a villain bet into a 3 better preflop with TP only? and hoping to bump AK out?

This play is only profitable with made trips or the NFD...
Don't mind folding here..

@ Gustav

There 3 players in the pot after the flop...

@ loc0loc0 discount the 3th player cuz he has only 3 bucks left.

I agree that this is only profitable with a set or FD with overcards. But villian has a VPIP: 55 and PFR: 40.

His range is much wider than just a set and the NFD right?

I think pushing nearly any hand here is pretty bad, we know he's bad so take his monies.

if the unsuited card wasnt the top card on the flop then a small pair + fd could do this rationaly, but as is I cant think of a hand that isnt either wasting its strength or comitting to much on a bluff.

PPL with stats like that are not complete morons (IQ below 90 ). You think of calling because he is so loose and think he could have anything. I only call when i have a note on a player like "TPTK is the nuts" or something i will call.

Don't forgot with TPTK he is behind of your range and assuming he has a little understanding of poker theorem he knows you holding an overpair and hoping you to call.

***EDIT
I prolly call here to, but i'm planting myself in villains head for once.
I pay off to much villains with the thought's givin above.
"Oh, he is a donk. I call."
