This looked like an obvious big pair to me. I don't want to have a one sided outlook though. Anyone see it differently?

This is really NL $10? Must've been a huge donating fish at the table prior then. Anyhow, turn donk from UTG seems a little suspicious. To me that looks like a blocking bet and I might raise there to push him off a hand like Ad Kd. But then again that's just me. As played, your fold on the river was correct.

Yeah 10 cent BB's but on AP you can buy in for $20 instead of the standard $10, so that's what I do.

why are you not raising his bet on the turn? It's an OBVIOUS "let me draw to my flush" bet. push him all in.

Agreed. Your hand is still beats a ton of other hands that the typical 10NL fish could be holding...

Pre-flop and turn are fine. On the turn, I would raise to $6 and fold to big re-raise. As played, river fold, without any doubt.

What do you think?

[/ QUOTE ]I think raising him all-in is a bit over the top. You will only get called if you are beat? He might be slowplaying QQ+?

From what I've seen at these limits, there's a solid chance that a turn'ed flush draw might call an AI--there are plenty of opponents who don't realize that their FD equity is bad heads-up on the turn (or just like to gamble.) That small bet definitely screams blocking bet so I can see the allure of trying to get him to AI there.

A raise to 6 is just terrible. If he has Ad Qd you give him the proper odds to call here. 3,6 to 1
Raise it up to 10.
