Bottom fh deep
Villain is 54/15/1
Ultimate Bet No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50./$1. 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $77.80 UTG+1: $98.50 Hero: $202.80 Button: $93.50 SB: $66.05 BB: $146.95 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 folds, Hero raises to $3.5, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls. River: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($79.5, 2 players) BB checks, Hero bets $51, BB raises all-in $108.95, Hero calls. Against normal players I don't flatcall both flop and turn here but he seemed like he was going to pot into me on all streets (he did the same one other hand when I had jts, raised and flopped the jack, I folded on the turn then). What do you put villain on here? His line doesn't really make sense with a 7 but I don't see any hand that'd lead out on flop and turn that can crai on the river and think it's good (unless it's kk which would also be weird) and he has to know I'm calling here unless I have total air which is quite unlikely. |

Re: Bottom fh deep
Villain could easily have a lone seven or 88 here; KK is very unlikely. And if he puts you on an overpair playing for pot control or something, or thinks you think he's bluffing and are letting him hang himself here, the river CR is a great play on his part since once you bet you can't fold.
But in conclusion you can't ever fold the river here ever given how the hand played out. Also after he pots the turn I would consider raising there, he's probably not getting away from a hand like TT and you will make sure you stack a lone 7 this way. |

Re: Bottom fh deep
I like the flat calling, a raise is going to freeze lots of stuff up. On the river it looks like trips or 87/88/KK to me. This isn't a bluff (no FE, he'd just lead river as a bluff, etc.) Although I think you're actually beat here a fair amount, the pot odds are too good and he'll pull this with like 76/A7s enough to make the crying call correct.

Re: Bottom fh deep
i think you played this perfectly - not because we're scared of better, but because we get as much action from worse as is possible

Re: Bottom fh deep
Hand was pretty straightforward I guess, but let me assure you that no one is close to villains holecards. Definately got max value out of this one.
He showed 55 and instantly went on my buddylist |

Re: Bottom fh deep
looks good to me... raise shuts him up and if he has a worse hand he just gave you his stack...
if he got better than you... oh well.. nh |
