Default Blind vs blind, what to do with the shortstack?

I've seen some very good players push what i consider to be pretty weak hands into the big blind when the bb has a pretty small stack (around 5bb).

I tried it out, like my push or should certain factors be different that i'm missing.

Thanks a lot!

Default Re: Blind vs blind, what to do with the shortstack?

Since it's after the rebuy period, I like it. The Pot is ~ 1k and you have an M of 9, and a little bit of FE, so I like the push.

It depends though, if he's tight it's a push with any 2, but if he's a LAG who will call any hand then just do it with face cards/pairs.

Without a read I like it. It's a good play to use to bully the BB shorties but don't use it too often or they'll start calling any 2.
