It may be stupid, but, like the infamous jman-doggedness, the good news is that constantly harping on about something or other has worked!

In line with the masked man's quest for quashing the apparency of elitism in the forums, I'm delighted to be able to announce that the Admins have agreed that as from midnight tonight all post counts will be reset to zero to level the playing field!

Not quite doing away with them altogether, as would probably be best, but at least we will all be able to have a chance of keeping up with you-know-who.

The race is on!

Why exactly does this bother you so much? Why is it a problem for you?

It doesn't and it's not.

So it's not a problem for you even though you called it a problem in your initial post and are spending your time coming up with bad ways to prevent it and keep going on and on about it?

It's not a problem for me in the sense that it's not a very important thing for me.

It was a sugestion to remove some of the zero-content posts. From this thread it seems like I was wrong in assuming those posts were linked to post count. Also most people here don't even agree with me that all this empty posts which adds nothing to the discussion are something to try and do something about.

And what do you mean I keep going on and on about it, I'm only responding to people who posts in this thread. I've never brought it up anywhere else, I've never bumped this thread except to respond to someone who's asking me a question, like you just did.

Honestly I didn't expect this to be such a hot topic, I'm surprised I got so many negative responses in a forum where I though the discussion would be a little bit more rational than if I posted the same in BBV.

EDIT: This is my last post in this thread.

Maybe you should re-evaluate who's being rational in this discussion and who's not.

I guess this is where you lose me, why does something bear repeating when it's right there a couple of posts up?

[/ QUOTE ]

If someone expresses something well, why reword it just to say the same thing worse? Quoting something is just a way of expressing support.
