Resteal Spreadsheet

The question on whether or not to resteal is a pretty common one, and one that is relatively easy to solve with math.

Basically we want to solve the following formula:

Probability villain folds*chips won when he does + Probability villain calls vs chips won / lost when he does.

It's (raise%-call%/raise%)*his bet + (call%/raise%)*[(win%*potsize)-(lose%*betsize)]

This is easy but very repetitive, especially given you often want to play with the numbers.

Therefore I have created a fairly simple resteal calculator that does this for you (use with the awesome PokerStove for best results)

It's an excel spreadsheet but the formatting is butt ugly because I actually made it in open office (in my version I have formatted the answer cells to show 0 decimal places and the overall results number in red but they don't work when translating to Micro$oft you'll have to do that yourself).
