Thanks for the input guy, i finally resolved it earlier today. Brought it by my buddies house to begin testing each piece in a different computer. pulled the motherboard battery to reset the bios, pulled the ram to see if it was bad, when my buddy jiggles the cpu heatsink. it was a touch loose, fixed that and everything works again. i still think the power supply was bad, but all is fine now. thanks again.
