Default Pair + oesd, shove it?

Villain is 15/9/3 over 50 hands. Only history of note is I just got reraised on a cbet the hand before and folded.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($15.80)
MP ($92.75)
Button ($41)
Hero ($43.75) [didn't reload in time]
BB ($58.60)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, BB calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $9</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $41.75</font>

I dont like that play. Villains stats are pretty nitty and he is telling you that he can beat overcards. So his range is pretty much overpairs or sets or better straight draws/flush draws than you have. You dont look pretty good against that range...

You're probably 40 / 60 here ... flat call and re-evaluate turn ... maybe make a $2 blocking bet on turn to see what he raises to if you whiff

But yea, I push sometimes too

I thought villain had a mid pair and would fold it given that he was nitty and that I raised PF so I looked like I had QQ+.

I think a push is ok. You should have FE against a 15/9's range.

I assumed the worst giving him only spade flush draws and pairs/sets:

</pre><hr />

This is fine. You likely have good FE and 10 outs.
