legal reraise should have been 1300

Also, is Euro tourney play different in that;
a. Verbal is not binding? If raise is announced, why wasn;t it allowed to be at least put to minimum.
2. If it WAS short of proper, as long as it's more than 50%, in US it can be finished without verbal. Not so in Europe?

[/ QUOTE ]

These are the EPT rules from their website:

"If a player puts in a raise of 50% or more of the previous bet, he will be required to make a full raise. The raise will be exactly the minimum raise allowed."

"When raising, a player must put the amount of the raise out in one motion or state the raise amount. By stating the word 'raise' a player protects his right to raise, but the raise must be made in one additional motion unless the player states the amount of the raise."

They do say that local rules take precedence, but this event is in a hotel, so can't see how that can be the case.

My guess is no one called the floor. It would have been done properly otherwise.

Well I busted day 2 as well.

Had a nice table appart from Hellmuth talking crap a lot. He didn't like me since I called the clock on him, and bet me 10k that I called it before 2 minutes had elapsed - very doubtful. I said 2k, he wasn't interested. (A camera was rolling so we could have found out). From then on he was telling me how I was an impatient maniac and would loose my chips to him soon.

We never found out he got dealt KK v AA and was out, later I got no cards for a while, squeezed into the bully and the calling station (impatient me? lol) and I was out.
Good tourney, but no cards on day 2. Good luck to all 2+2ers still left, see you in Dublin.

GL Yuv.

I see that Roi Elmaliah is still alive in the main event. Have you watched him playing/talked to him?

Suicide watch please.

CO raises to 10.5k, with 65k behind. blinds 2-4k with 400 ante. I have TT on the BB with 70k behind. Shove. He has Aces, good game.

There were so many shortstacks, but it was such a standard play against a cutoff raise.

I started with an above average stack, there's like 10 mega shortstacks and I got to play 5 hands. Kill me.
