Default Help me plan my Vegas/LA trip.

Hey,

This September I'll be celebrating my 21st birthday in Las Vegas with my family.

My family will be with me for the first five or so days in Vegas, they'll then be off - leaving me in Vegas.

While in Vegas I want to spend a week or two playing cash games, then I'll likely move to Commerce in LA for a week to play cash games.

The games I'll be looking for are 5/10 - 10/20 NLHE.

I'd like assistance with selecting my hotels for the stay.

- Taking in mind I'll likely be playing at the Bellagio while in Vegas - what's the best place to stay?

I'd like decent rooms while my family are around. When they leave, I'd just like a room atleast close to the Bellagio which offers decent laptop internet access.

Does anyone have any tips? Any online discount sites? Etc.

Thankyou.

What about a casino next door at half the price? Remember I'll be staying there for two weeks and won't be using the room all that much. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Konig,

Try South Strip Travelodge. It's less than half the price of Bellagio and very close. They have free wi-fi, which I've never seen anywhere else in Vegas. The rooms, are just ok.

Good luck,
Ethan

Bally's is the standard "play at Bellagio on a budget" hotel choice. It's directly across the strip with a pedestrian bridge between. Flamingo would be fine, as well. IP and Harrah's are a bit farther down but would be very adequate locations (and Harrah's has McDonald's, Chipotle, Pizza, Chinese, Subway and Outback as northern neighbors making food cheap and easy to get). IP is the lowest quality choice. Pick among Harrah's/Flamingo/Bally's based on price and location.
