Default After sitting out for about 5 minutes in a Stars $15+1.50...

I have played against Villain before in some MTT and he seems to be a tight, solid player.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG+1 (t1500)
MP1 (t1490)
MP2 (t1470)
MP3 (t1330)
CO (t1910)
Button (t1370)
SB (t1360)
Hero (t1500)
UTG : Villain (t1550)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

why R/R this early with the 3rd best PP? I want to see flops when the BB is t20. I would call and play the flop aggressively if the texture is good for QQ.

How has the table been playing? Does t120 steel blinds from EP? What's the normal raise pf?

Unless I know this I don't really have a feel for Villain. You mention tight/solid. This could be 10,10 or AK. You're beating all but 2 holdings. I'd r/r to t360 to see where we are and shove on a safe flop.

Um, pushing is terrible.

If he's tight, I'm just gonna call and play it aggressive on a safe flop. It'll get more value than a raise.

if he's an idiot he'll call with 88 though. Seriously, shove does wonders.
