B&M $4/$8 LHE - Facing Action With Overcards + Nut Flush Draw
Big hand from a session last night.
Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on the Button. 5 limpers, Hero raises, BB calls, 5 calls (7 handed) Flop comes 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($58) BB bets, 1 caller, Villain raises, 1 caller, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, 3 callers (4 handed) Turn Comes J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($110) Hero bets, 3 callers (3 handed) River Comes J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($142) Hero Bets, 2 callers ($166) Results in White: Hero wins $166, 2 mucks Standard? I'm not sure about the flop 3-bet, but at the time I reasoned my pot equity to be way higher than anyone else's, given the size of the pot and an ~40% chance to make a flush by showdown. It seemed like a good idea at the time... is my train of thought correct? |

By any count you have 12 outs (15 possibly). At no point in this hand should you stop betting.

Preflop: superstandard.
Flop: Four people already put money in the pot and you have monster draw. This is a wet dream. Don't ever slow down with this many opponents. The rest plays itself. |
