What if the turn was just a 7 or just a diamond? You like flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

i'm a moron and it is early; bad combination.

i missed that you didn't bet the flop. UGH

on the flop i thought it was mono. i am dumb.

you created this mess because you checked the flop. now you have no idea where you are. i honestly have no clue what you should do on the turn, other than fashion a time machine so that you can go back 40 seconds and bet the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Even thought that isn't really the flop you want to see in the situation you are in, you do still need to bet to see where you stand to re-eval the turn. As played I would fold though, too hard to tell where you stand and it may be the only outs you have are a 7/Q.

As an et.al. I value(?)bet any AA, but I have no delusions of protecting my hand. I grit teeth and value(?)bet KK. I think QQ is tough, but it's about the breakpoint to wait and see turn equity. I wouldn't be surprised if non-diamond KK and AA are already drawing dead to a set or better on such a horribly coordinated flop with so many limping players.

Here's my count of "bad turn cards" for our QQ:
4 4's
4 8's
10 Diamonds
3 other Kings
3 other Aces
Even Threes and Nines are ugly against 7 players.

What hands would the flopbettors check? Or do you continuation bet everything... even whiffed AK?

If you knew someone would checkraise then betting would be great, but in these games the majority of the time you'll just get called in four places.

[/ QUOTE ]

why would it be bad to get called in 4 spots here? seems to me like theres a lot of value in a bet here.

The turn card is going to define the value of this QQ hand... and unfortunately, in the OP... the value pretty much went to zero

[/ QUOTE ]

um, we have at least 2 outs and possibly 11 and we may be ahead hell.

that hand is way different joe. the crux of that hand is that clark knows the sb is gonna bet ou the turn so he can trap the field for an extra bb on the turn.
