Right way to use PokerStove with short stack in 3 way hand?
Ran into a hand recently and I'm trying to figure out how to calculate the PF odds correctly.
The hands were: Hand 1: AJo - 110bb stack Hand 2: KQo - 15bb stack Hand 3: QQ - 95bb stack Trying to calculate being all-in PF (I had QQ here FWIW and started us on the way to the all-in fest with 45bb re-raise.) Of course with KQo in the hand, QQ is in worse shape though still the favorite - but KQo is in the hand for only 15bb and he can win and have QQ be 2nd place and QQ still comes out ahead 80bb. If I mark KQo as dead cards in Poker Stove, QQ vs AJo is in great shape but that doesn't seem right either... Thoughts? Thanks! |

Re: Right way to use PokerStove with short stack in 3 way hand?
equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 47.1802 % 46.76% 00.42% { QQ } Hand 2: 28.6595 % 28.53% 00.13% { AJo } Hand 3: 24.1604 % 23.74% 00.42% { KQo } Main Pot: 45BBs * 47% = 21.15BBs Dead: Kc Qd equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 68.7672 % 68.55% 00.22% { QQ } Hand 2: 31.2328 % 31.01% 00.22% { AJo } Side Pot: 160BBs * 69% = 110.4BBs Total Expected Return: 110.4 + 21.15 = 131.55 You invested 95BBs, so your EV is: 131.55 - 95 = +36.55BBs /thread |
