Bobo, I'll likely be doing the Poker Savvy and MB thing in the next couple of days. As a thank you for all your work I may as well give you the referrals if you have any RAF #'s at either. If so, PM me and I'll be sure to use you. Thanks again for doing this for all of us. [/ QUOTE ] NP, and thank you! |

Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
I have a question about Click2Pay. When I try registering, I reach the stage where you enter you credit card number. At this point , it wont accept either my Visa or my MC. Keeps saying that the `card number is ėnvalid`. I would appreciate any feedback.

[ QUOTE ] How about we start listing credit cards that work/don't work as well. Paradise is claiming they will credit cc's upon withdrawals. A bit sceptical if that is true. [/ QUOTE ] This is a quote from Intercasino's Credit Card funding page. "As of January 1st 2004, VISA have stopped accepting withdrawals from Online Casinos back onto customers credit cards. However, this only affects customers who reside in certain countries (to view the countries affected, please click here)." Canada was one of the countries listed, so I assume that no matter what the poker/casino site says, it's up the credit card company if they will allow withdrawals. They only mentioned Visa as having this restriction. No idea about other credit cards. [/ QUOTE ] I've been trying to gain discussion on this precise topic. I realize there may well be restrictions for withdrawing through credit cards on some sites. Those are waters that need to be tested. However, are there any restrictions to using credit cards to make deposits??? I'd be glad to use snail mail to withdraw. |

I'd suggest giving C2P a call, I just got off the phone with them after a <5 minute wait. 1 888 254 2729 from Canada/US. |

Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
Just had another positive conversation with C2P.
I discovered on their website that there are weekly limits, here's what I found out. The only thing they are limiting is account funding, and the limit is low...$500/week. This is for CC funding, I don't know if there is a limit on wire deposits, but they really seem to discourage those. They do NOT offer bank transfers. Your limit is tied to your "star" rating. You will start off with 2/6 stars. He couldn't give me exact details on how you increase your stars, it's one of those vague things...once you spend so much on your CC they have you send more documents, etc, then you go to 3 stars...$1,000 limit. Seems like one of those Party VIP things where no one will tell you how to reach the next level. That's all the bad news. The good news is that they tell me there is NO limit on site-account-site transfers. I also asked about the Debit Card. It is a Visa Debit Card. As mentioned before, they charge you $10 up front for it, and there is the dormant account charge. That's it. They don't charge anything for withdrawals, and apparently it is their own bank (?), so there is no "middleman" bank charging fees like with NT. You don't have to load the card, or load a seperate account, you just use the card and it take moneys from your C2P account. It is a debit card, so it can be used for purchases. Of course, they have no control over what an ATM will charge you. Sounds pretty sweet if it's all true, and I'll say that so far everything I've tried that they've told me has been bang on. |

Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
[ QUOTE ]
For anyone who would like to get their MB account funded without having to add more money to their bankroll, there may be two options. I used PokerSavvy - a site like PSO that gives kickbacks for signinup and completing offers at sites. Also, it seems a poster from another MB thread on here was actually able to withdraw to MB without having made an MB deposit first. This is quite unusual, most (all?) sites won't allow this, so I'm not sure if it was an anomaly, or if it will work for everyone. [/ QUOTE ] Do you happen to know of the site that let you go NT->site->MB without an original deposit through both NT and MB? |

It was UB...Ultimate Bet. I'll repost with the correction, as I can no longer edit the OP. |
