Preflop, I like the call fine. You can also push preflop. I wouldn't fold without a read. This is not the same as an early position raise at a full table.

There is a good chance this flop has hit your opponent, but you have to get the money in. Leading out pot is fine, or you can go for a checkraise allin. If you check and villain bets big or pushes, you probably have to fold, as you don't have sufficient odds to call. When you lead out or checkraise a small bet, you have folding equity.
