if the knee is sensitive grab one of the old fogey floating things..put them between yr thighs thus keeping yr lower body afloat and you'll get the cardio and a serious upper body workout without moving your legs knee at all.
but u will tire very very quickly so pace yourself |

I actually suck too much to swim with just arms.
The standard flutter kick for the crawl is fine for my knee. The snapping motion of the breastroke isn't, as you guessed. |

Went swimming again today, added one lap, for seven total (LOL).
Lifeguard stopped me to help w/ form, and the couple tips helped my efficiency a ton. She actually goes to my college, but wasn't hot. (BEAT) Considering how bad I suck at swimming, what would be a good distance and time for me to aim for by the end of April? Assume I will be swimming three times per week. |
