results: I bet river, villain C/R, I called to see JJ.
thinking back to the turn, I'm wondering if checking behind, with the intention of calling a river bet, or betting a relative blank when checked to, isn't a better play? the board is coordinated, true, but unless villain was open-raising with a diamond suited connector, the coordination isn't helping. would people advocate checking through the turn here, hoping to SD for one more big bet? |

[/ QUOTE ] No, because he could still have worse hands which have live outs against you--like KJs, AQ, maybe even an oddly played QQ. And that's just against his normal range, not counting the times he opened things up a bit and is holding QJ or a 9 or something else strange. |
