there is no edge in rebounds. anthony gets more rebounds than mcgrady. but you knew that already.

[/ QUOTE ]

McGrady has averaged 6.3 rebounds per game during his career, Melo has averaged 5.6. This is despite the fact that McGrady's career averages are hurt by his first few years when he didn't get a lot of playing time and that Denver plays at a fast pace which means theres more rebounds to be had.

Melo's highest yearly rebounding average was 6.1. Not counting his first two years when he didn't play much, TMac was ahead of 6.1 in 6 out of his 8 years, including one year with 7.9.

Ok. In his last game Carmelo had 13 points on 31% shooting, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds. In his last game TMac had 22 points on 50% shooting, 10 assists, and 4 rebounds.

You're the one that started bringing up entire season stats instead of just RIGHT NOW. So that must mean that right now Melo is a slightly better rebounder, but TMac is a way better scorer nad passer, right?

Clearly I say all that in jest, and clearly we both realize that we need to look at the past in order to accurately say how they're going to play right now in coming games. Stop trolling. TMac is by far a better rebounder than Melo. Just because Melo has one year with a better average doesn't wipe out the past.

Actually its both.

I know that you're a bit new to the forum. There are a ton of regulars here, and many people here have even met in real life. Some people even make big money bets with others simply taking them at their word that they'll pay up. In short, what I'm trying to say is that it is a bit of a community here, and I've always tried to treat people the same way I'd treat them in real life.

We'd all welcome your posting here, but try to treat others with more respect. If not, you'll probably just end up getting banned.

NBA.com lists him as #5 in this year's MVP voting. I'd say thats pretty damn good.
