Drunk at 3 am, would you choose Taco Bell over Freebirds?

Girl1 asked for extra queso sauce in ipot's thread.

Are there any other advanced taco bell maneuvers you would recommend or are they all closely held secrets?

[/ QUOTE ]
My first job was when I turned 16 and I actually worked at a Taco Bell. There are many things that use Taco Bell's ingredients that are more delicious than many items on the menu, however those things are items that I personally made (mixtures of base and unused ingredients) and cannot be sold.

Besides those, it will just be a matter of adding extras of stuff that is already on any given item. The only thing I can suggest is dipping anything and everything in a side of nacho cheese sauce. Also, if you want to go old school, order a quesadilla with green sauce instead of queso sauce to experience what quesadillas were like before the current queso sauce.

bmwguy,

Do you have access to a Wendy's?

If so, is it as awesome as I believe it to be?

If not, you should probably book a plane to the east coast right now.

Thoughts on what to get here:

Noodles Co.
Chipolte
Popeyes
Boston Market

[/ QUOTE ]
Noodles Co. - Although I do not like mushrooms on a general level, their Japanese Pan Noodles are quite satisfying. If you want something with a little less weight to it, the Pasta Fresca is also good. Don't ever order from the American food portion of the menu, LDO.

Chipotle - My favorite from here is a chicken burrito with pinto beans, cheese, rice, and pico de guillo (sp?). Wheat tortilla FTW if available.

Popeyes - As far as I'm concerned, the Popeye/KFC battle is mute. If you're eating fried chicken you're getting the same thing every time you eat it. Rolls, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw, all of which are seen as the "norm", are a must, mainly because of the blending of the type of food.

Boston Market - I will go with the ham, buttered corn, and usually browse the other options of sides. I haven't been here in forever, but from what I can remember it's pretty decent stuff.

It is that awesome. But, the goddamn [censored] franchisee in my area went bankrupt and closed 51 of their stores, and now my city doesn't have Wendy's anymore. So mad. Ate there at least once a week.

Damn you for asking me this question.

The local TB's close at around 2AM, so the only choice would be Freeb!rds. However, even if they were open I would probably opt for Freebirds just because it's such a delicacy. However, the high prices and size of items keeps this off of the every day menu, or else I would most definitely be overweight and more broke than I already am.

The Wendy's in SoCal are slowly disappearing, but I am a Wendy's fan as well. For the prices that they offer, Wendy's is a definite eat! I will always switch up my options here, as it's not a regular visit, but no matter what I get there will always be a 99c chicken nugs added on. I've had success with their cheapest burger as well as with their bigger ones. The chicken sandwiches (fried, obv lol) are also very good.

Also, fries+frosty FTW
