SEMI OT: Convincing my dad

interesting perspective, this past year I had an internship at a local engineering firm (unpaid, it was through school) and he didn't consider this a "real job". Hmmm, im trying to think of a good way to put this. My dad would consider Mcdonald's a real job not because he thinks im learning new job skills, but he views it from a more traditional perspective, as a more teenager appropriate job.
