I make purchase mostly with my Visa debit card. I noticed that ePassporte has some kind of connection with Visa although I haven't really looked into it carefully. If I setup an ePassporte account, and cashout money from stars into ePassporte, is there a way to make real life or online purchases directly from my epassporte account? This way I could bypass the bank, and the hassle of having to deposit checks into my bank account. Also this is kind of avoiding the law I guess but if I ever won a sizable amount of money, I could just keep it in epassporte, spend it at will, and never have to pay taxes on it? Clarification on these matters will be apprciated.
* Edit/MH: Please discuss such matters in the official ePassporte thread so that all future readers interested in eP may benefit. Thanks. |

The only purpose of this card is to fund online gaming accounts, purchase child pornography, and to buy medication without a prescription.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE "LEGAL" GOODS AND SERVICES WITH THE CARD! |

I can't tell if you're kidding or not. [/ QUOTE ] It is pretty much true. Although you can use it for porn with animals and midgets, not just child porn. |

If they do the transactions using your Epass card would show up. As to the extent that which they do this in the course of normal audits - I'm not sure. 2p2 needs a resident tax evasion specialist. But please don't take this post as an advocate for dodging taxes only for evading child porn stings. |

I have no input regarding the tax stuff (I pay my taxes), but I have been using the virtual VISA to pay bills.
It worked here: Comcast Geico Several Hotel Reservations Tmobile Didn't work here: Newegg.com CenterPoint Energy Unfortunately, when those last two declined the transactions, the money still came out of my epass account. Now they are listed as "outstanding" in epass and I don't have access to the funds. I sent a message to epass using their little message system about the locked money a few days ago. I haven't heard anything yet. I hope that helps. |

I've used virtual ePass online at Amazon, Frye's electronics and to pay bills, no problems. I've used the physical card everywhere with no problems at all, except you can't use the physical one online, just the virtual.
