Another round of fear here at a poker forum ... and another round of arrests of folks running a sportsbetting site. The wire act lives, but they still havent tried to use it against us in court.

Is this really newsworthy, just because they used a likely unindicted offshore company for record-keeping and customer service ?

More than 64 People Arrested in Online Gambling Stings Wednesday
More than 300 officers in New Jersey alone worked the case. This absolutely astounds me. Also, this seems pretty far removed from the "online world" than I expected. Seems like a pretty standard gambling ring that UIGEA has nothing to do with. |
