Default TT on an ugly board

Villain in this hand is a habitual donker and check/raiser. He's a bit loose but not overly so, but he donks way too much and is a bit predictable with steal defense check/raises.

I hate calling that river, but can I really find a fold here having raised preflop and raised the flop? I had half a mind to raise the turn, too, or would that have been just cuckoo?

I prefer just calling down once check/raised on the flop. If hes bluffing I dont want to stop him. I also dont want him to fold any lesser marginal made hand if hes capable of making that fold. That's basically why I just call down UI.

On the river, Im calling.

You can't fold this river ever. I would play it exactly the same most the time.

i'd play it the same most of the time. i don't see a safe fold anywhere we have to call down.

as played on flop. Can you fold to another 3-bet on turn? If so I prefer to raise and check behind river here.

as I would play on flop: I don't like the 3bet here when we have position. Why not just call down and make him sweat whether to keep firing or not.

This seems like a way to lose more when behind, win less when ahead and very occasionally get bluffed out.

Surely no better hand folds so you have no bluff value. Versus a worse hand you get the same amount or less with this line. Versus his bluffs you get less. Versus his legitimate draws or legitimate hands which improve to beat you you lose more.

Having said all that I am in a topsy-turvy world of poker at the moment and could easily have it all backwards.

Guy.

if he has a legitimate draw he might very well c/f the river instead of betting out again if he thinks you are calling down. I guess it is kinda spewy though, especially since what I am really advocating is a calldown from flop c/r.

if he just calls your turn raise, what are we behind to so that we should check behind on the river? QQ? no. VB river all the way if you raise turn.
