Default UK Players 1600x1200 Monitor £250 delivered

For anyone after a monitor with a 1600x1200 resolution there is an HP one here for £250 delivered, after £50 mail-in cashback.

http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/118828

The equivalent Dell Model (identical panel is seemingly used) is currently £365 delivered in the UK.

Whats the deal with the £50 cashback?

Is that on this product, or all ebuyer products?

Im looking at this one:
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/113148/rb/26478504365

Seems to fit my needs right now, i play at iPoker, and with the shrunken tables that allows 6 without overlap, and 9 with a tiny amount of overlap - 18 pixel overlap on the veritcal.

Any experts know what the contast ratio means?

Also am i right in assuming that all monitors hook up with the same socket/or USB - i know ive got a socket at the back of my laptop for an external monitor, but i know basically [censored] all about computers.

Good monitors but I think the max screen size is 1680x1000

Yeah, those widescreen ones do seem to be cheaper, but they defeat the object and incur horrible vertical overlap.

Slightly off topic... could someone tell us why these things are so much more expensive in the UK than the US?

It is mostly the tax related to its import, plus businesses generally charge us more on top too.
