Re: Good line for big hands OOP when you aren\'t the preflop aggressor?
[ QUOTE ]
c/c is bad, as villain might be very willing to lay down TPTK to sudden agression on later streets. [/ QUOTE ] But will stack off to a c/r? WTF? Those of you who c/r a lot OOP: you shouldn't. People who c/r a lot of flops do well in tournaments, though, lol. If you are worried about balancing, b/3bing more is way more effective than c/ring more. Against the donks it hardly matters, but against decent players c/ring a lot is terrible. It leads to situations where good players in position start checking a ton of flops with both moderate and strongish hands, betting flops with monsters, air, and draws (and often pushing the draws over your c/rs). This makes it really [censored] hard to get value from anything. I only c/r if there's a chance to trap dead money, or if the c/r puts me all-in (like in re-raised pots). c/r here is fine (because of button's potential money), but once button folds, call and lead the turn. Even nits aren't folding TPTK. |
