There's a place half a block from my office -- it used to be a SoHo, so I'm sure people have seen this sandwich before -- that is diced chicken breast, bacon, grilled onions and green peppers, and melted Brie. It pretty much rules.

McGee-- Was this at Grey Dog's?

[/ QUOTE ]

Nope. It was at a place called SoHo's here in DC -- of which there are several, so I imagine they have them in other places as well. The sandwich is named after some street in what I presume is New York, but I can't remember the name of the street.

The place where it used to be is no longer called SoHo, but they still serve the same sandwiches.

What's it called/where is it?

15th and M, Northwest. It's now called Cornerstone Cafe. I think there are SoHo's all over the city, though.

The main food critic in Milwaukee used to say the "Lobster BLT" was the end all. I believe the amount of lobster was pretty small and mixed with the mayo. Never tried it, but it had to have been pretty good.

My brother works at Grey Dog's in NY, he is a busboy/food server whatever. I went there once and thought the coffee/sandwiches were awesome. His name is Dan; you can go in there and tell him you know his brother (Mike) but I don't know if he'll get you any discounts coming from an internet forum...
