Sorry, I mistyped the action and cant edit it at this point.

Flop Action
I check raised, he 3bet, I 4 bet, he 5 bet and I called
(no cap live)

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd c/c turn and b/c river. As it worked out I reaaaally want to 3bet the river but I don't think I can find it in me, so I call.

Villan showed down QQ for the set, played overagg, but he did have some outs...
I was thinking i should have bet turn and called through from there, but it looks like i played it fairly standard

and your not being results oriented?
What if we fire turn, get raised? We are forced to check river, and call a bet, or he has control to check behind, either way with that line, its the same showdown price...
I did give him a free card too though... If you bet turn and he flat calls then a spade drops on river, are you finding a fold?

my first instinct was that he 5bet the flop for a free card with the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and tried to move you off your hand with a river raise when he didn't get there

in any event, i don't see anywhere you can play this differently. i don't want to donk the turn because if we get raised we have to call down and we will have poured alot of bets into this pot with a hand that isn't even the 12th nuts.

whatever hand he had he played it very akwardly/poorly and so all you can do is play your hand optimally street by street, and that is what you did.
