Default Help with Samsung 204B Moni prob

Sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong place, mods you cna move it if u want.\
\
I just finished watching an episode of Futurama on my left monitor, and as soon as I closed Media player for some reason my right monitor [censored] up and now there's a permanent discolored horizontal line going across just below the middle.
It's only on the right moni, and i've tried rebooting and turning it on/off but nothing makes it go away. I really dunno what's wrong, has anyone had this porblem before? Any help is appreciated b/c this is quite annoying. thanks.

also... for some reason on this monitor I can't do "auto adjust" which usualy fixes these types of problems.

I think you have a permanent row of dead pixels...apparently this is a fairly common problem with the 204Bs.

i had the exact same problem with one of those monitors. if its under warranty you can get it replaced. there's nothing you can do to fix it.

I just had this exact problem and made a thread about it here:

Basically you just call samsung and tell them the problem and they will replace your monitor no questions asked, no proof of purchase required. Hope that helps.
