Thanks. I dont know what the hell I was doing before, but I'm getting 59:41 edge for A7o vs random now. (Against top 38% its 51:49 dog).

In short : 1. you compute your $EV if you fold, call+win, call+lose (use a ICM calculator) 2. from find how many % of the time you need to be good for the call to be OK 3. use PokerStove to see if your % against his range is OK |

call - you are in the mooney and can knock someone out - you have enough chips left in case you lose, A7 is a good hand in this spot
