QQ's on stars get mangled by bad play help??...

I don't have the exact history its on another comp...
Playing $.50-$1 on PStars, 6 handed.

Im sitting on button with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]-Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and my image is LAG.
The action is folded to the CO who raises a standard $4.
I reraise to $10 <font color="blue">too little i think wat si right $16? </font> After the contimplating the CO calls. The flop comes 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]-8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]-2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] . The CO then checks and I bet $7...again to little? The CO calls, turn is J which then the CO checks. I bet 18 which then i am c/r AI for 40 more. I call and CO flips over K-K. How to make this a better play?

Make it 12-16 preflop. Then on the flop bet more than half the pot. This guy only has like 85 bucks, so it's fine to felt QQ here.
