Default Cardrooms in Aruba

Planning on going to Aruba for a week this summer with my wife. Looking for low-limit NL or limit poker for both of us to play. Any suggestions on which rooms to play in? Competition? Atmosphere?

Any suggestions on where to stay?

Thanks!

i was in aruba last september for the ultimate bet 5k tourney. that was held at the radisson which has a small casino and poker room. from talking to floor people there, that week is the only time they get any nl games going at all. the rest of the year they have small limit games going. not sure how often they run. i would stop by the raddison casino one night and just check it out.

I was in Aruba 2 weeks ago. The radison had a 2/2 NL game with a $5 bring in and also a 5/5 NL with $10 bring in going every night i was there. Only one night did I goto the Holiday Inn and they also had a 2/2 NL game with a $5 bring in going. Rake was awful though... i think it was 10% - max at $10.

The main thing to remember is that the games don't start until 10pm at the earliest.

Also, you may be the only one speaking english at the table. Not that that is a bad thing, just different.

Thanks for your responses!

Any comments on the competition? Atmosphere (is there smoking allowed?)? Tips on places to stay?

Thanks.
