sbrugby had big tell when he checked the river against negreanu. That loud "check" sounded like he was defeated and giving up. Daniel wasn't going away so the outcome was inevitable but sbrugby got to work on those obvious tell.

i have obvious tells too, right before i fold preflop in a low limit game i look disgusted and muck.

There's a difference here. If he doesn't make a sound and just taps the felt. He gets to see Negreanu's hand.

Yeah, this was very confusing....like to know what Phil was thinking there.

D-Dub bet more than pot into 3 or 4 other people. I guess Ivey just gave him credit for the overpair and decided not to play OOP against a guy who won't pay him off if a third heart falls .

Could there possibly be any truth to AJ's agent complaining to the network about Gabe's jokes at the beginning and end of the show? Seems like a bizarre thing to make up.

Also, did anyone else notice this? In the hand between Williams(tens) and Laak(A3D), the flop was 388 two hearts. Thoughout the hand Gabe seemed to think it was 378 and AJ never said anything.

I don't think Gabe knows that much about poker. His comment when J Dags checked the two pair on the river after a mono flop, was he was worried Williams had slowplayed a flopped flush. Looked like a pretty obvious attempt to induce a bluff to me.

Terrible commentating by Gabe tonight.

Why is it that every time someone asks for a chip count Gabe says "He doesn't actually care how many chips he has, he just wants to get a tell." WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!?

An ace came on the river and Gabe said something like, J Dags could be concerned about aces-up or Willams slow playing a flop flush and not wanting to face a possible raise if he bet. You could be right about trying to induce a bluff, but he seemed happy to win the pot without a river bet.

Ya, I can't believe anyone questions whether it was a good fold, it was a good fold. And how does Gabe not even mention being priced out as a reason for the fold, and here I always thought he was an insightful/knowledgeable guy.
