Default Everest and withdrawals

Tried to make a Neteller withdrawal from Everest and received an email several days later directing me to a site where they demand a whole slew of ID including credit cards and a form authorizing them to debit my credit card. Why should they need credit card details for Neteller withdrawals? Has anybody else had this sort of trouble from Everest?

I had nearly $2k in Everest at the time of the close to U.S. customers, and didn't have a Neteller to withdraw to. They refused to send me a check, saying that their bank wouldn't send it to U.S. customers. Eventually they sent someone out to buy $2000 of AmEx Gift Cards and mail them to me. Ugh.
