Default 100 - 200NL Downswing

What is a typical downswing at these levels (in buyins) and how often (before you can account it to major leak(s) ). Thanks

If I lose something like 10 buyins over 5k hands, I discount bad luck.

I've lost 20 buy-ins in 10k hands. I'd say that 50% were bad beats, 25% were coolers, 25% was bad play.

Typical downswing is probably in the 4-6 range.

Last year I went on my first long downswing and attributed it all to bad luck and everyone else getting lucky against me with bad play. However, after going through 15 or so buy-ins I sat down and reviewed my game carefully. I posted hands and read what people had to say, which at times was harsh and very blunt. A lot of people on this board helped me find the leaks in my game and now I'm pretty solid but no where near good enough to proclaim that I know everything. So I suggest posting some hands to see where you're at.

the more improve, the less varince i seem to have.

back in the day i had multiple -10 buy in days in 30k hands

however now, if i get incredibly unlucky, i might have a losing week

(100% rb ftw)

In my last 1500 hands I have lost 10 buyins of 200 and 4 buyins of 100 when I moved down.

exactly if we can always play optimally and minimize tilt downswings would occur less frequently for sure
