converting .flac files

hey,
what's the best software for converting .flac files to mp3 etc

or

how can i stick flac files onto itunes so i can play them on my ipod?

Itunes cannot play Flac Files - big bummer

convert them using many programs - Db Poweramp, Foobar, etc
