Default AA vs whatever PF theory question

This has actually come up several times for me - I think the right answer is always "yes" but I'm curious.

Approximate situation: I'm in late position and have AA. $10 raise from UTG and 2 callers before me - $33 in pot ($10+$10+$10+blinds.) I make it $60 to try and narrow the field and it gets folded back around to last guy still in hand and he asks:

"If I call, will you check it down?"

At the time this is asked there is $93 in the pot and opponent looking at having to call another $50 but I know I'm at worst tied and most likely I'm ~80% to win here.

If I answer "no" he may or may not fold - estimate 80% chance of opponent folding on "no" and 20% of him calling knowing I don't want to check to the river.

Goofy question? Other thoughts? Is the best answer always "yes" given the pot size/bet sizes?

I know a smaller raise by me can throw things out of whack here - but then I probably shouldn't have done that right? Larger raise by me also shifts things more towards just having it folded back around to me.

This is kind of joke, right?
Say 'yes' and push flop.

Say yes and he'll think you're weak, then he'll push and you can laugh at him.

I think hes serious, maybe its live?

according to the 80-20 estimate what he will do if you say no, you should say yes. Easy math really.

Most important question, how big are the stacks? But what application does this have to any real situation?

It's pretty hard to think of a hand that (1) doesn't reraise after 2 limpers and (2) is going to pay a great deal after the flop if he doesn't improve to beat you. OTOH pocket pairs could easily stack you. I think he is getting by far the worst of the deal.
