Default Bike or Commerce?

Hi fellas.

Sorry if this questions seams trivial too you, but I'm european.

This thing is that I have about a full days layover in LA, on my way back home from New Zealand.

So I was planing on going to either Bicycle or Commerce casino, get a room there, sleep for awhile and then play some NLH Cash. I will prefer 10-20NL but might settle with 5-10NL.

I have a few questions.

1) Which casino is closer to the Airport (LAX) ?

2) Which casino has the game with biggest value in it?

3) Is the buyin structure different at these places? 100BB buyin? Uncapped buyin?

Any other info of value is welcome!

Thanks

Bike is closer to the airport but only by about 10 minutes. Commerce has a hotel attached, Bike doesn't.

It depends what game you want to play. For mid/small stakes limit holdem commerce for sure. If you wan't higher capped buy ins for NL def. the bike unless you want to play 10/20nl which is the smallest uncapped at the commerce in which case they don't spread a nl game that high at the bike on a daily basis. But smaller than 10/20 the bike has 5/5NL with a $500 cap which absolutely the best game in LA at those stakes and a 5/10NL with a 500 min no cap buy in also a great game.

about the same , I would say: 25 to 35 minutes

2) Which casino has the game with biggest value in it?

Worse player at commerce ( the reason is in answer #3 )

3) Is the buyin structure different at these places? 100BB buyin? Uncapped buyin?

No, it's not for the 5-10 , buy-in at commerce is 400$ & only 400$, at the Bicycle it's 500$min, & no max. I was in LA during the LAPC, & there was always min. 10 tables of 5-10 at commerce, but only 1 or 2 at the bicycle.

make ur choice !

Hollywood park is closest. Hustler and Normandie a bit further. Hustler has a bigger capped game for their 300 (2/5 blinds). Hustler also runs occasionaly an uncapped 5/10 game. Minimum 500 buy in. About 10 minutes away 20 max with traffic for all three above.. Commerce and bike are about 20 minutes away, but as long as an hour if traveling during rush hours. Rush hours are 7am-8pm m-f. 12pm-12am on Saturday. Take the 105 to the 710 north. Exit Florence for the Bike, Exit Washington for Commerce.
