poker tracker and fixing leaks
I've been playing low stakes online poker for a few years w/ very modest profits on a variety of sites. I've moved to FT because of all the closings, and have been getting crushed. I recently purchased pokertracker to try to figure out why. I'm wondering if anyone could give any suggestions on how they've used this program to improve their game in the past. How many hands and tournaments do you feel you need for an accurate sample size? Do you look for trends that you lose a lot w/ certain hands, at certain blind levels, etc? I'm really having a hard time trying to figure out what mistakes I'm making now that I'm on FT that I was't making before, and would appreciate any feedback.

Re: poker tracker and fixing leaks
dells, in addition to getting familiar with pokertracker I recommend getting involved in the appropriate strategy forum.
Sometimes we need others to help find our leaks for us. Post some hands that give you trouble, respond to more and hopefully turn your "modest profits" game into one with better play and more profits. [/ QUOTE ] obviously I dont know how you play but you should consider the possibility that you are not playing much different but the players you are playing against are better than they were at previous sites/stakes and are punishing your mistakes more. |
