360 connecting issues

For the last few days I haven't been able to connect to people in games via my wireless adapter on XBL and I am wondering if anyone has some tips on a quick fix.

Unplug your router to reset it. Also try unplugging your cable modem. I end up having to do this every couple weeks.

On a simalar note, I just got a 360 a little bit ago and I cant seem to connect well (or at all) on certain games like NHL 2k7, Fifa 07 and others. Games like Madden and College Football and GRAW worked well. Any ideas?

Note. I tried resetting my modem and router..
