that isn't the point -

i think the combination of him betting + getting raised (on bluff or whatever else) AND him betting and getting called > him getting CALLED ON HIS CHECK/RAISE.

your question to me neglects the crucial point that just bc ozzy might bet a lot on the river, it doesn't mean he calls c/r. since he likes to bluff grimstarr's river bets, and grimstarr likes to block bet and fold a lot, i think GS should give ozzy a shot to make a much more expensive bluff or value raise

I like mixing it up with a donk bet on the river to try and fake-rep a 3 or a 2. If he's as aggressive as you say he is, he's bound to call you down or and bluffraise pretty often.

Your approach doesnt really look like a credible mid-pair, considering your image.

Hi Grimmstar,

My line, I think, looks a lot like a mid pocket pair that didn't want to give up on the turn, right?

Right, or a 3. I don't expect him to pay off a c/r here very much at all. I think you should lead, repping the 3. That might get you raised, if he doesn't have much, and will almost always be called if he has an ace, IMO. I think this is what duck is saying, as well.

I like how you played the flop for sure, both generally and given the context. Generally, though it's super-tricky to lead quads, you are just giving your opponents a chance to wriggle off the hook when they have nothing. Specifically in this spot, Ozzy has promised to bust you, which means that he will do a little less bluffing IMO, and that would include raising or floating with nada when you donk this flop.

Jason's right, check faster if you're gonna check.

I think I like the flop and turn c/c v ozzy, and I would check almost all rivers, but I think leading this one is good.

I think a strong lead is best with your image, but a weak lead has it's merits.

i would recommend waiting for him to shove and then letting your timer run down to 1 second before calling and then sitting out.
