On the flop, I think his range is pretty strong, something like 77,JJ,T9,78 and sometimes overpairs (but I think he reraise KK/AA pf, so maybe QQ).

Now what part of this range shove the river for 250 bb?
How deep should we be to consider folding the 3nd nuts?

I don't think he's got an overpair here...like hardly ever. There's 1 combo of 77 and 3 of JJ that beat us; 2 of 78, and 4 9Ts...I think even if we count 4 hands that beat us, we only need 2 combos of hands that do this that don't beat us to make the call at least neutral EV when getting offered 2 to 1 (correct me if I'm not thinking about that correctly). So I'd say he's got 78 or 9Ts here at least once for every 2 times he has 77/JJ.

Hah, ok so I feel stupid, Yeah you have to instacall, you have a full house that only loses to quads or a J7 or a JJ. 2:1 or not you instacall.

We beat J7.

I snap-call here. It's just a cooler if you lose. 87 would also make perfect sense given the action.

i can't believe i'm saying this, but a fold has to be considered strongly in this spot. hero's holding is huge, but hand reading, blah blah etc. hero is beat here a large percentage of the time (enough to fold? not sure).
