f u vb only 1 street, make it the turn rather than the river

Can you explain this? Is it just because we are more likely to get called by a worse hand on the turn than on the river?

and i would guess at least one of them has a flush draw, so might as well charge him to see the river

I can see this aspect of it, but against two villains OOP, i am lost as to why we are betting this turn?

I think your mistake was on the flop. The bet was weak so people could easily be putting you on a missed AK or something. Now you just created a tough spot for yourself on the turn.

Turn decision is tough. I've been in this situation before and one of the guys had a set, but I did make a PSB on the flop and shoulda known to fold. I'd bet here again b/c you still may have the best hand and you have to charge for that flush draw. If you made a regular PSB on flop then I can see the argument for a check.

I'm with Cobra on this one.

Why do we want to put more money in this pot when:

1) We're OOP.
2) We very well may not have the best hand anyway.
3) We're giving ourselves a tough choice on the River if a non-club falls.

The only logical hands that have hero crushed are sets (unlikely since no one repopped the flop), A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (should have raised flop also) or K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Betting here is for value and protection.

I agree with the flop bet. I missed that it had been 3-way. Had it been HU, i think my bet is fine. but yeah, $22 or so works well.

I bet $55, button folded, SB shoved, I folded. Thanks for replies.
