dead money is fine if you're playing decent stakes. at small stakes, it's no jerks allowed.

Dead money is well represented at my home game. But they're all nice guys. I wouldn't want to play with an unpleasant guy even if he was a cash register.

Why do people have such polarized views of everything?

we had a unpleasent guy to hang around with in our home game... he was dead money to the point where he asked the guy who had the nuts on the turn "can you still win?", and asked afterwards if his set of aces on the turn could have won on the river against the str8 on the turn.

i would say ethical integrity would be the personality traight that i would pay atention to. typically assholish morons tend to fail when it comes to ethics anyways.

Have two players I invite all the time that come to play. They are the worst players I have ever seen but are very friendly and are a blast to have in the game.

I watched one of them fold pocket KK face up because he thought the another player had two pair.

We all said in unison "He does and they are bigger than yours!!"

Great times!

...ahem...Shhhhh

The other player was bluffing...this player was a stiff, a shoe-in, a push over, easy money, you could sell him swamp land, he's easily intimidated.

Sorry, should have explained the personality of the guy.

BTW - He's never folded pocket KK since then.
