Default More fun with min raises in the stars 50/r/a

2nd hand of the tournament, villain unknown. The juxtaposition here is that villain
A. Might expect us to have an A
B. Might think A is his perfect scare card

That he didn't immediately rebuy prolly means hes not that good a player but not always:

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t10/t20
8 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t3000
Hero: t3000
MP1: t1500
MP2: t1500
CO: t1500
Button: t2990
SB: t1510
BB: t3000

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Hero raises to t60, 2 folds, CO calls t60 (pot was t90), 3 folds.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (t150, 2 players)

My achilles heal is the unknown making a minraise. It always gets me to do something crazy, like shove here for value.

well if youre right about him not being a good player since he didnt rebuy
he might even have 2 pair here or just A3/A4/A7
id just call it down and see what he does on the river

really? i thought bond is beat here.

to elaborate, i dont think your preflop raise allows you to narrow his holding @ all except for maybe the bottom 20% of hands. Therefore, isnt this the way he plays any flop which you are drawing dead on? On the other hand i can see him calling w/ ace rag, flopping a gutshot, and then viewing his hand as the nuts, which is what youre saying, so im really not sure. But i wouldnt be shocked to see a flopped set or straight.

I wouldn't be surprised to see myself beat but I think that all pair+draw hands, weaker aces, bluffs and spaz plays are also in his range so I think there is value in shoving because he will call with hands that he wouldn't if he couldn't rebuy.

i always assume, if they didnt rebuy yet they're not gonna, is that incorrect from your observations?

To be honest, I don't know and it's a good point. I haven't played anywhere near enough of these on Stars to know. Where I have played single rebuy things, on Ladbrokes a Euro site, very few insta rebuy and this sort of play is almost always a sub-par hand that villain will felt because he can rebuy.

I wouldn't be suprised if he is beat here either, but what line should Bond take? Folding the flop to a minraise seems weak to me. I think he could easily have floated this low flop with AT/AJ or A rag with gutshot as you suggested.
