Bodog Security Form
Why is it ok to deposit using a credit card but they want all the verification in the world if you want to cash out?
My last deposit was with a credit card and lost the money. I took a couple of months off and decided to play with my bodog points that I had accumulated. I played in a point tourney and won $100 dollars in tourney credit. Joined a 10 dollar rebuy and won 54 dollars. So I simply go bananas and run it up to a decent amount and start thinking about cashing out. They want a copy of my ID, credit card, passport this that and the other before I can even request a payout. Seems silly to only have that type of scrutiny when you are cashing out. |

Re: Bodog Security Form
Because Bodog is crap. The worst site i've ever seen. Terrible software, terrible tourney's, terrible bonuses. I just took all my money out. That site is trash.

Re: Bodog Security Form
Huh? Cashing out at Bodog is simple. You just choose the method and type in the amount. I never had to do all that stuff.

Re: Bodog Security Form
In the withdrawal section Bodog clearly states a credit card verification form is needed if you want a payout and you initially deposited via credit card. Nothing strange about it.

Re: Bodog Security Form
I noticed this also when i got a reload bonus and was looking threw deposit options . I believe its fairly new and only happens if you used a credit card to deposit. I have withdrawn many times and had no problems.

Re: Bodog Security Form
Everyone above is haters. Multiple sites that I've played on ask for verification. It's standard procedure.

Re: Bodog Security Form
You guys just don't get it.
They want a security form so you don't go back and Charge your credit card back, or put a stop payment on an ACH. Remember, BoDog gears toward the casual, low limit players. These are the ones most likely to chargeback. BoDog is not a PRO's site. They are doing it to protect themselves, and we all know they are not the only site that ask you to do this paperwork. Give them some credit. They just teamed up with MySpace...jeez |

Re: Bodog Security Form
If you are using this rational then it would make even more sense for them to make that a requirement on any credit card deposit not just when you withdraw.
Who is to say someone doesn't make the claim or try to stop funds after simply losing the money? |
